Grip and extension are both in excellent condition with almost no soiling. The ferrules fit nice and tight. No defects to disclose whatsoever.

For sale is a Sage ONE 8136-4 Spey rod in excellent++ condition and comes with the original tube, bag and un-filled Sage lifetime warranty card. I bought this rod for a 5-day trip on the Skeena but was used very little because the 8wt was simply too light for the Skeena Chinook. The rod was cast and fished for perhaps half a day max.

The 8136-4 ONE weighs 7 3/4 oz, compared to 8 1/2 oz for the 8134-4 Z-Axis, the rod most similar in the Z-Axis line. We'll talk more about the weight (or lack thereof) in a minute. Rods in this size range are perfect for winter steelhead in most places, and summer steelhead on the Dean. They're also in play for small- to medium-sized king salmon.
