I owned both SRAM RED/Force AXS as well as DI2(the older 6800 series as well as mtb version). Batteries: Shimano batteries are tough and a single charge can be use for a long long(3-6months++) time if you are not shifting aggressively. eTap drains much faster, and even faster if somehow the derailleur cant enter sleep mode due to some reason, taking out the battery after ride is the best way.
